[Background]
[ History can be found here ]

[Personality]
Over the years, Hao's personality became something of the a nesting doll. The deeper you dwell, the more you understand him and his reasoning. On the surface, Hao is such a troll. Along with being a complete troll to everyone, he's bluntly sarcastic and arrogant. It's extremely hard to get along with Hao during this time, because he tends not to take anything serious. Literally meaning, anything; someone could die or disappear and he'll still not take it seriously. From this, so many people tend to call him a jerk. - Which he doesn't mind, and brushes it off with no problem. Instead of taking it the wrong way, he simply states 'it's what makes him so strong.' Obviously, he doesn't care if you call him a jerk or something worse, instead he'll just continue doing the same, exact thing.

As he doesn't take much seriously, nor does he mind insults; it's difficult to make him angry. Difficult, but not completely impossible. One you make him upset, you cannot ever expect forgiveness. Instead, he'll seek you out to make your life completely miserable. One of the ways to piss him off is to see him in a rare moment of weakness. Having to obtain his strong, unbreakable image; this cannot be forgiven. Hao absolutely hates to have his privacy invaded. At any other time, he has a protective barrier that keeps him from getting angry. When this barrier is up, you can even go as far as smack or attack him and he won't get angry. - For sometime at least. He'll begin with laughing but if you keep antagonizing him without break, he'll attempt to break you.

Hao hates humans, to the point that he's planning on killing all of them. He hates them with a fiery, burning passion that overwhelmed him during his first life. This is because Hao is weak-hearted, no matter how strong he may act. Everywhere that Hao went during his life(s), humans were causing chaos. He couldn't get anyway from it, and it slowly broke him down. That, and along with his abilities to read the minds of the humans that wanted him dead, were driven by greed and hate drove him to come to the conclusion that humans needed to die. That they were just small nuisances that didn't deserve to live. His true hate began when his mother was killed, so this is a extreme rage button to Hao. This hate was able to dissipate for a time, but came back as his reishi began to control him. Even though he killed the culprit, Hao's weak heart couldn't get him to forgive the humans that killed her. Especially since he couldn't find his mother after her death, even though he was a shaman. He thought that she was truly gone, to where even her spirit was gone.

In no way does Hao take orders from others. He may go along with them and seem like he's following them; but he isn't. He'll agree with others, and sometimes work for them but he's a lone agent. Unless he's the leader. Hao simply does what benefits him. Further, Hao does not stand for someone to get into his way. Without hesitation or mercy; Hao will get them to get out of his way. Even if it means killing them. During this time, Hao can easily be caught in the moment of killing. He doesn't enjoy killing others, but he'll still do it. He'll do it without a pause, unless it's someone's parent. After he kills someone though; the smile that is almost always on his face isn't there anymore.

Hao actually has a lonely soul, which means cats are often attracted to him. Hao has admitted this himself, even stating that he has only had one true friend. (who was a cat). Though he'll never admit it, Hao wants friends deeply inside of him. The topic of friends often gives him a rather melancholy expression and not joke around as much. This is only if you push the topic, if you don't that this doesn't happen.

Underneath his villainous side, Hao is a fallen hero. Deep inside, he's actually kind and gentle. He helps those who are in need, especially if it means helping them from humans. Due to the anger and hatred that consumed him, Hao lost his ability to maintain this kindness and gentleness. Still, it's in there deep, deep inside. Prove would be that he saved a dying African orphan that had no chance of survival. She grew to love Hao and saw this side of him more than anyone else. Everyone that Hao has saved has seen this side, and that's why they stick by him. They know how kind Hao can be; that he isn't just a murderer or villain. He's a hero to them. Even more so, if Hao has some sort of like for you he'll indirectly help you. Unless he's the reason for it.

Of course, Hao is a very secretive person. In no way will hetell someone something willingly and open. Only if his guard is down and his has trust in you will you ever learn anything about Hao. After that, he's not going to bring it back up though. This leaves him to be a rather puzzling person. Both secretive and puzzling; he's also sneaky. He travels in the shadows almost, and appears at seemingly random times out of nowhere. He quite enjoys watching people without being seen.

[Abilities]
[Shamanic Techniques]

[Canon]
- [ Found here ]

[Due to Somarium]
- Most, if not all, of Hao's abilities will be lowered down in Somarium

Onmyōdō - Hao will no longer have the ability to manipulate the nature elements. Or any of this ability at all, so he can't change the S.O.F into anything other than itself.

Reishi - Since this is the ability to read minds, this ,of course, will be drastically lowered. (much to Hao's enjoyment} But - since it's the reason he became twisted in the first place, it's a large part of his character and cannot completely disappear. Hao will no only be able to fully read minds, but while he cannot read minds other's thoughts will come to him as mangled, understandable whispers. Only on occasion will Hao be able to completely read their minds (This will only take place with mun's complete approval.). Even though, he can't read minds. This ability still allows Hao to be able to understand other's emotions on a slightly higher level than others.

Ritual of Taizan Fukun - No longer have.

Curse Reflection - Only if the curse is a weak one, on extremely powerful curses it'll still show though.

[Oversouls]

[Canon]
With his spirit, Hao is able to make oversouls that only shamans are able to see. These oversouls are powerful and can provide much damage. Due to his Furyoku, Hao is able to make almost any type of oversoul with ease.

[Due to Somarium]
No longer will Hao be able to form any oversoul that he wants. Instead, he'll only be able to do two oversouls. Also, anyone will be able to see his oversouls. Shaman or not. Hao's furyoku amount will remain the same, but doing anything with it requires both a greater deal of it and eats it up faster.

- A oversoul imitation of a person; but these cannot speak nor due they have a shadow. These are made from what Hao recalls of a person, so they aren't always accurate and can easily be seen though.

- His armoured oversoul 'The Raven'; in the manga this oversoul could fly, easily deflect attacks, attack from a distance. In Somarium, this armoured oversoul will maintain it's appearance but become more of a sword and shield. He has to be within close distance to be able to use this oversoul and physically touch the person with his weapon. Unless the attack hits the S.O.F head shield, than it will not be deflected. The oversoul will also shrink, so it's arms will be able Hao's arm length and cannot stretch any further. It can also create oversoul fire.

[Healing Techniques]

[Canon]
Back home, Hao was able to both revive and heal the almost dead. This would not even take a small amount of his furyoku. Of course, he could only revive people's whose bodies are still intact. Some of the head, to the bone burns, and any wound that kills someone would fall under reviving the person. A example of a wound he could kill is a loss of a arm or leg, large slashes or stabs (unless to head), and any simple cut.

[Somarium]
Hao will still retain the ability to revive someone, but it will be horribly exerting on him and use all of his furyoko. (Meaning that it won't do it - at all.) So you can basically forget about him having that ability. Healing anything more than a simple cut would also use a large proportion of his furyoko. In fact, healing a fatal wound would use practically all of his furyoko(about 900,000 out of his 1,250,000) and leave him extremely exhausting and worn. In any case, Hao hardly uses his abilities to heal unless it's a extreme situation. He wouldn't use it unless he actually cares of the person.

[Other important stuff]
Hao will indeed be bring the Spirit of Fire with him. If only, because the S.O.F is technically his weapon and is indeed completely impossible for something else to play. In only personality trait that has ever even been mentioned really was that he's hot-tempered. Either way, he can't speak and is a spirit of a element. Of course, he'll be completely powerless until in Hao's oversoul. The S.O.F will also be in it's weakest form (which would just weaken Hao's power even more since all of the S.O.F's power has been revoked.), meaning it'll be in it's child form. He'll also not be able to stay in his body form for long, only about a minute before reverting back to his ball form or invisible. The S.O.F will also not be able to eat souls and become a adult.

[Sample post]
[First Person]

Oh~? You want to interview me? [Hao narrows his eyes.] Alright, you pathetic human. I'll entertain you for now.

What do you think of your home world?
[Hao narrows his eyes for a moment, before giving a rather light fake smile.] My home world? It's a significant waste of life and energy. [a slight chuckle] I couldn't careless if someone burned it to a crisp.

If you could go back home, would you? Why or why not?
[. . . .] Of course, I have to become Shaman King. After all, I can't allow my pathetic brother to do so.

If you were to describe yourself in one sentence, what would that be?
[Hao glances at the interviewer in complete fake surprise. He pretends to think for a moment, before giving a innocent-like smile.] In one sentence? How easy. I am King of the Stars; how do you do?

If someone provoked or attacked you, what would you do?
[Hao isn't even going to fake a smile to this question; instead smirk and be completely blunt.] Kill them of course, I don't see why I would spare a life of someone who dared to approach me in such a way. [He puts on a small frown and shakes his head falsely.] They have to learn their lesson.

Would you consider yourself a power hungry individual?
[Hao blinks for a moment.] Power hunger? Oh, no, [sarcastic] why would I be hungry for something that I already have. [Have a arrogant smirk]

If I offered to save your soul for a price, would you go with it and why?
[Hao simply glances at the sky.] No, because my soul is already in damnation. [end of questioning.]

Do you stand up against authority, go against all odds, and if you could, pierce the heavens with your fighting spirit? If not, would you if you could?
[Hao gives a small shrug.] You can call it that; if you like. I 'stand up' against all who stand in my way. Authority and odds don't matter to me.

Would you consider yourself a hero or a villain? Why? Neither is an option as well, but still tell why.
[Hao shrugs before smirking.] Point of view. [oh, is he supposed to explain? How annoying.] To some, I am a villain. I've killed for the sake of my own need without mercy. Alas, to some, I'm a hero. I've saved people as well, after all.

Murder. What is your opinion?
[Hao smiles.] It happens, there isn't anything else to it. [His eyes narrow darkly for a moment.] It's the victims fault for getting in the way. [Better leave it at that.]

You discover someone stalking you. Do you call the police or deal with it yourself?
[Hao seems to be rather bored by this question, taking a moment to play with his glove before answering.] As long as they don't get in my way; I don't care. [He smirks darkly.] I could always deal with it myself.

What is more important to you: having friends or living on your own? Why?
[Hao's whole expression dampens by this question. Instead of his usual sarcastic smirk or false smile; he stares solemnly at the sky.] Living on my own. Because friends are unnecessary.

There is a cake in the rain. What do you do?
[Hao gives this question a blank blink.] I'd eat it, of course.

If you could destroy a city, how would you do it?
[Hao just laughs at the question.] Could destroy a city? Why, I already have~ [He stops laughing and just... smiles.] Fire does an efficient job, after all.

Would you consider yourself a lover, a hater, a sinner, or a saint? Or maybe a mix of both?
[Hao gives the interviewer a long, hard scowl before answering.] Ha ha ha, I wouldn't consider myself any of them. A lover does not want to kill the entire human race. A hater doesn't have pity on the souls that died because of someone's ignorance. A sinner does not act as a saint to others. Nor has a saint sinned for more than a hundred years. [He tilts his head a slight bit, before giving a considerable smile.] To some; I suppose I can be all of them. Don't you think? [Definitely a rhetorical question.]

Is the best part of waking up having Folger's in your cup?
[Have a simple smile.] The point is it's in my cup - and I didn't have to pay for it.

Do you have any future goals or dreams? What are they?
[such a simple question.] To become Shaman King, and than kill all humans.

Can you surpass God?
[Hao raises a eyebrow at the question for a moment, before shaking his head.] No one can surpass god. [He smirks.] Unless, of course, you're me.

Oh no! Someone tripped and injured themselves right in front of you! What do you do?
[Hao chuckles.] Aw, that's a bit sad. [A huff] I suppose I'll have to walk over there, lean down, and tell them to be more careful. Along with that they're lucky that they didn't die right here. [He actually doesn't say anything about helping them.]

Would you prefer being the stalker, or the one being stalked? And what would you do?
[Hao oddly enough seems to have binoculars and a snack to go with them. Placing them to his eyes, he only has one response.] fu fu fu~ [Beware, he's watching you.]

Do you believe in the magic of friendship?
[Here, you have the most bored face Hao can have.] The only 'magic' that friendship can have, is the magic of how hurtful it's betrayal can be. [He's not going to say anymore on the topic.]

[Third Person]

Hao lifted his head up as he scanned the sky above him. The stars were out, but he couldn't see them. The light from the city was blocking them. A slight scowl appeared on his face, this was why he hated cities. You couldn't see anything from the sky while even near one. He hated it. This was actually why humans needed to die, they were poisoning the world. Than again, it was slightly his fault that he decided to spend one night in the city. If he didn't than he would be bothered by this. The Shaman Fight wasn't that far along, so he was taking his time exploring the world. He could be anywhere but here, but he for some reason decided to crash here for the night.

Lowering his head again, he let his thoughts dissipate. Maybe he should just be lucky that no one else was in the streets, than he'd have to listen to their thoughts. Even if he couldn't see the stars, it was still a peaceful night. No noise could really be heard, and there weren't any cars racing by. At least, he was in the deserted part of town.

"S-stop! Someone, help!" The cry caught Hao's attention as he raised his head to notice something ahead. A poor woman was tugging hard as another human was attempting to snatch her purse from her. Tears poured down her face as she frantically glanced around for any sign of help. Hao let down a slight frown as they made eye contact for a split second. It was really the pathetic woman's fault for being outside this late. It didn't matter to him, she should have been more careful. He began to lower his head again as a loud smack caused him to revert his eyes to the scene again.

Of course, the mugger had gone to violence to gain the purse. It was a typical human move. The lady fell to the floor after the pipe lifted from her head, letting go of her purse in the purse. She was still alive, she was still thinking after all. 'hehe, how stupid. That lady couldn't do anything to protect herself. The piece of trash.' The mugger's thoughts reached Hao's head, causing him to narrow his eyes. Humans really didn't care about each other, that's why all of them needed to die. They were all just full of hatred, every single one of them. Why else would they start wars? Hao plainly watched the scene in front of him. He didn't move a inch as the mugger began to search the woman.

"Haven't you stolen enough?" Hao bluntly questioned, gaining the mugger's attention. Of course, he didn't run once he noticed his was being watched. Hao looked like a small teen after all. Instead, he smirked and laughed. Of course, he hadn't stolen enough. He was full of greed, after all.

"Go home, you small, stupid kid. Leave me to my business." The man crackled as he continued to search the body. Hao frowned again as he raised a hand. Fire engulfed the man before him as he dropped the purse and began to scramble. Confusion, panic, mercy, pain, misery, and despair all filled the man's thoughts as he began to melt to nothingness. Still, Hao didn't let up his fire until the man was completely dead. With a rather apathetic face, Hao slowly walked towards the woman. She was asleep with a light tinkle of blood coming from her forehead. She wasn't going to die, instead she was going to wake up, grab her purse, and free from the scene.

It was just a typical human move. Lowering his head once more, Hao left the scene himself. He didn't kill the man to help the other human. It was the man's fault for calling him small; when it was quite the opposite. If he had just ignored him or answered the question; he would have lived. If he hadn't told him to go home to a place that didn't exist any longer, than perhaps Hao would have left him alone.

"So small...," Hao murmured darkly, as he continued down the darken path.

[Why do you want to play this character in Somarium?]
Mainly because Somarium needs more troll villains with a slightly darkened heart. Also, because I really wanted to play this character somewhere; and Somarium just seemed like a really fun place to do so.

[Which rule was your favorite and why?] No god-modding; because it's so annoying when someone does so. Also, because I'll have to make extra sure not to do so with Hao.
[Where did you hear about Somarium?] Um..., a friend I think?
[Do you need a promo code?] Nope, it's aaaall good!
[Any questions?] Nope!
